Mini-Post: Lap Cats!

Crooked and I always tell each other when we are raiding with cats on our laps, which is pretty often. I received a tweet from Soralin today telling me that pet cats in WoW sit in your lap when you /sit with them targetted. Of course, I had to try! It wasn't working on my Orc for some reason, so I rushed over to my Goblin after raid to try it out.

I can have Floki on my lap IRL and in-game now!
Having my in-game version of Casper on my lap is bittersweet.

This makes me very happy! :)

    I didn't know about that! Just tried to use it on Feline Familiar and it didn't work! Boo.

      Try some others! I used Cat, White Kitten and Spectral Tiger Cub!

    I saw this on Tome of the Ancient and wanted to try it last night but forgot. Now I must remember to do it tonight, sounds great!

    As to real life cats and names...you are right, it might be cute but also kind of sad at times. Kind of mixed on this

      Yes, it can be very sad :( but it's nice to have him walking around in my garrison. The lap was upsetting, but wandering in my garrison is nice.

      I tried it and I'm mixed for different reasons. (but overall happy!)

      The main thing is that the sitting style of the different races works with cats for some races but not for others, which is annoying. Also, male laps vs female laps.

      The female characters generally looked good with cats, some clipping or odd placement but not bad. The two male characters I tried, looked kind of bad.

      Need to try all my various race/gender combos and see. Hmm, feels like a research post.
