BRB Banking

I have many, many bank alts. On some realms I need multiple bankers. On others just one. Most of them have their own guild banks to store my sellables/junk though some of them aren't holding anything or never for long periods of time.

I try to keep them all looking unique and their names different because I have confused them at times, which can be annoying when trying to post pets on one realm only to realise you are on the wrong toon!

Just some of my bankers!
Do you dress your bank toons up?

  1. My first bank alt to get dressed was not very original. She was going for a banker look that used those tuxedo clothes. Being a Bank Mule, she was named Rocinante.

Then a needed a banker on a realm that already had a Rocinante, so she was named Aldonza. Her first outfit was a lumberjack shirt and blue overalls! She's had a journey that has resulted in her resigning from the bank job to become an adventurer herself!

    1. Oh! Aldonza sounds awesome! I have never really leveled any of my banks but I have demoted max levels to banks after leveling them as farmers.

  2. My last attempt at a bank alt was a druid back in the Burning Crusade. One minute she was innocently minding her own business dealing with bank stuff, next she set eyes on a pair of Silverwing Sentinels, sneakily leveled to 10 and never looked back :(

I may have to try again but I need to find a really quiet out of the way bank with no distractions to park him or her near.

    2. I suspect the natives wouldn't take too kindly to an Gnome or a Night Elf moving in on their bank. Would probably think she's out to steal it or something (which naturally wouldn't be the case.. honest :p).

  3. My banker, Bankingbob (who happens to be my only male character) is in the classic tuxedo gear. He in his own guild which does have a pretty funky guild tabard though - green/blue/purple with the lobster symbol.

    1. The closest I have to a male toon at all is the Belf female in a Human male mask! I probably need a suited gentleman banker.

I always spend way too much time on the tabards, when often I don't even wear them!

  4. I tend to dress my bank ALTs in all the nice things I find - nothing more fancy than world event dresses and some of the rates like formal Dan GUI and the hanboks. That PIC is awesome though!!!

  5. I used to focus my fashion fun on dressing up my bank alts in interesting ways. One of the reasons my main bank alt was a DK was because a plate wearing class could wear anything else I wanted her to wear, too. She had quite a few sets that were mixes of different armor types.

Then Transmogrification came along, and I stopped dressing my bank alts in party clothes. I suppose I still have a lesser bank alt or two in fun clothes -- but the others are now just wearing their quest-ready sets (Transmogrified, of course).

    1. Oh gosh! I would spend too much time and gold on transmogging them if I could!
