As an achievement hunter, the achievements for doing nothing are usually seen as free point to bump up my total, but there is one I haven't been so keen on.
I hated the outhouse quest in Grizzly Hills as Alliance, and I've always disliked any quest related to picking up or rifling through poo!
I commented to a couple of friends about how much I disliked it, and there were a lot of comments in guild initially when people where getting the achievement. I refused to get it as a joke at first, thinking I would just log on when no one was on to click the outhouse for the points but then as time went by and I still hadn't clicked on the outhouse I decided it would be the last garrison achievement I get.
People keep threatening to use the Swapblaster on me, or cast Leap of Faith to put my character so close to the outhouse that I accidentally click on it. This would be easiest in the Level 2 Alliance garrison, I have almost clicked it a couple of times, panicking a little as I realise just how close my cursor is to those 5 points!
Inb4 the addition of even more outhouses and achievements like [Potty
Trained!] - Relieve yourself in every outhouse. Ew, and let's hope we
never see any rares toys or pets gained by using the outhouse! YUCK! Tbh, I am surprised there aren't any yet.
With more garrison achievements being added in 6.2, it looks like I will have even more time without using the outhouse, making my character as irregular as my blog posts!

Mini-Post: It Might Just Save Your Life
I saw people getting this achievement on the first day of 6.0 and was a little curious, but asking around it seemed like I would have to wait until the Love is in the Air event to get it. This weekend Mctacky said to me on vent 'Luxy, I am about to get something you don't have!' 'Wuuuut iiiis iiiiit?' Then it popped up in guild. 'TELL ME HOW?!' He mentioned a necklace and I assumed he meant the bracelet thingies that I knew I didn't have. Turns out he used Winking Eye of Love, I wondered if I had one sitting around on any toon. I logged over to my druid and she was wearing Heartbreak Charm! Yay!
If you happen to still have any of the neck pieces (item level 480) that drop from Apothecary Hummel during the Love is in the Air world event, be sure to unleash the power of love! Ew... but 10 points! NOW! Instead of 4 months from now!
There are 5 different neck pieces:
Sweet Perfume Broach
Shard of Pirouetting Happiness
Choker of the Pure Heart
Heartbreak Charm
Winking Eye of Love
Just keep your winking away from me please.

Luxy Has a Blog? Shocking, I Know
Things are busy in Luxyland. Well, not reeeealllllyyyy but uni, not-so-tiny puppy, and actually playing (afking) WoW are stealing away all of my blogging time...
Notable things I have done whilst I haven't been posting:
Challenge Conqueror: Gold - While I got silvers on my Shaman with Navi, Lush, Sev and Arv, I got the golds on my Priest.
I've Got the Biggest Brawls of Them All - Rank 10 Brawler's Guild - Took me long enough but I finally got my Brawler's Burly Mushan Beast with some awesome cheerleaders to keep me motivated.
Glory of the Orgrimmar Raider - Yay! OpenRaid got me most of these in just one weekend.
Fire-Watcher - My apologies to Barthilas who had to suffer me for a couple of weeks while I farmed their delicious Bloody Coins. I might still be accidentally stealing coins from friends though. Dem Lava Burst procs!
Master of Deepwind Gorge - Can't even thank Putress enough for this. I couldn't have capped all those carts or sat through all of those wins alone. <3
Veluxia is no longer a Draenei, and no longer named Veluxia! It was hard
to faction change her, but I really wasn't playing her as alliance on a
dead server. For now she lives on Mal'Ganis, a happy little Goblin
again!
Things I want to finish up before WoD:
Glory of the Pandaria Raider - A few to go, Show Me Your Moves! seems a little challenging, but with the right group it should be doable! I have tried it with a couple of OpenRaid groups without success. I just need to find time to get into some groups for the other meta achievements. Still a lot of points to be gained there!
Glory of the Thundering Raider - Just one to go. I think I need a couple of different platforms on Lei-Shen for A Complete Circuit, again just need the time to commit to a ToT run!
Proving Yourself: Gold Damage - Proving Grounds are something I have been pretty lazy about because I found it quite boring to be honest and it is so lonely in there! I got silver on my Shaman though, I suppose there is plenty of time to work on gold.
Going To Need a Bigger Bag - 3 to go! Generally I am studying on second screen while camping a rare on the isle so it's not as boring as it could be but this achievement really sucks! I am just left with camping Spirit of Jadefire for Glowing Green Ash, then I will be killing High Priest of Ordos for Ash-Covered Horn and mannnny crabbies to make the Monstrous Spineclaw spawn for Spineclaw Crab.
I stillllll need to finish leveling all of my 5.4 pets to 25. I think I have around 20 to go but I am still quite burnt out on pet leveling and battling in general, though I have been having a lot of fun forcing other people to start pet battling, some even obsessively asking for invites to look for rares now!
It looks a lot less daunting when I look at it like that, although, some of those won't be fun or fast... Luckily I have awesome friends, the kind who are always there to help me, listen to me rage, andoften always mock me! :D

Bloody, Bloody Coins...
I had pretty much ignored this element of the Timeless Isle for the longest time. I love to PvP, but I was not so keen on killing members of my own faction as well. It seems cruel and doesn't really promote a healthy sense of community. Trolling is already high in trade and general chats. I had bought my Censer of Eternal Agony (1,000 Timeless coins from Speaker Gulan) early on, just for the achievement.
I had been discussing it with a friend, Healycow, on Barthilas and he said he still had plenty to go. We were both free, so decided to group up and see who we could find to kill on his server, since it's PvP. In the first hour I had over 30 coins and he had almost as many!
Of all of our kills on the first night, I'd say less than 5% were actually alliance players, which made me feel pretty bad. Luckily, Barthilas hasn't been my main server since Cataclysm so, I don't have to worry too much about any enemies I make. Amusingly, I almost attacked a Frostwolf! Saundin was on Barthilas for a Celestials group when I targetted him and noticed his name!
Aside from raiding, Bloody Coins are the reason I am logging on lately, pestering my friends on PvP realms for invites. While often they want to join me for some PvP, you will remain on their server while you are grouped even if they need to log out, so alts are handy too! I have alts on Barthilas Horde and Frostmourne Alliance who can invite anyone who wants to farm coins on Oceanic!
Items such as [Odd Polished Stone], [Kang's Bindstone], [Aqua Jewel] can help mask the fact that you have the censer buff, especially if players aren't showing name plates. Eternal Warrior's Sigil is really good for getting your health back up fast after using the censer (Very helpful if any sneaky rogues are stalking you!) Cursed Swabby Helmet helps if you want to gank people as they are killing Evermaw! Evil... I know.
Bloody Coins can be used to purchase the following items:
Pouch of White Ash - 20 Bloody Coins
Reins of the Ashhide Mushan Beast - 500 Bloody Coins
Vengeful Porcupette - 100 Bloody Coins
Fire-Watcher's Oath - 50 Bloody Coins
Black Ash - 1 Bloody Coins
I am currently on 613 of 2000 that I need for the Fire-Watcher achievement, which was fortunately nerfed from 10,000. Still a long way off, but getting there! If anyone isn't planning on farming the coins and needs a Vengeful Porcupette, I see many of them in my future, let me know if you want one!

AMG! Meta Achievements!
First thing when I logged on Wednesday morning, I also opened up OpenRaid chat. I saw a run for ToT achievements so I sent a tell and was invited. I didn't expect much, I try not to expect much with PuG's. If I get one achievement, I am usually happy enough with the time spent. The 6 hours I spent in there turned out to be totally worth it.
On Friday morning I signed up for another OpenRaid group. this time for MSV achievements, we managed to get all but one that people were after. The hardest one sadly, hopefully next time!
After a lucky drop in Flex wing 2 on Thursday night, I decided to give Disruptron another shot. One shot it! Just Ahoo'ru left in Brawler's Guild for me!
Sunday - More raiding! A heroic Sha of Fear kill. What a scary fight! We were pleasantly surprised to also get The Mind Killer.
An awesome surprise from Navi! She was sitting out of raid when she told me to drop my mailbox mid raid! It was on cooldown still so I asked Moo to drop his Moll-E. Moon Moon!
Also this week, my Warlock made Pierre and somewhere I picked up a cheap Harmonious Porcupette!
I acquired three new mounts this week. Sky Golem, Reins of the Onyxian Drake and Riding Turtle. I might have to slow down on the spending for a little while to replenish the coffers!
I will try some more OpenRaids next week. I wonder how long I can keep up this achievement spam for?

Now You're Just Showing Off
The Brawler's Guild achievements have the best names! When I first started brawling, Now You're Just Showing Off seemed impossible. I dreaded the day when I would be able to fight them. Having finished it, I am glad I don't have to fight these bad boys again!
Millhouse Manastorm
This fight was fun. Simple enough concept not always so simple to execute. Blocking Millhouse from the crystals gives you a buff and prevents him from receiving it. Ideally they would spawn in a position where you could block 2 at once, if not kill the one you can't reach. It only took a couple of attempts before I got him down. It's super fun pew pewing him with 100 stacks of Power Overwhelming.
Zen'shar
Not going to lie, I cheated. There is a spot in the southeast corner where you won't get his by the eye beam, you simply need to strafe to avoid the voidzones. I read the WoWhead comments for this fight after giving it a few shots and got it over with quickly!
Epicus Maximus
Ooooh, Epicus. I found Pure Rock'n Roll to be the biggest problem for me on this fight, they were everywhere, always exploding on me! It took many attempts. Staying out of Destructolaser's path and interrupting Blue Crush, are the only other things you need to worry about on this fight.
Disruptron
Dahahka spent a lot of time watching me on this fight, giving advice and encouraging me. You need to jump the red lasers and avoid the glowing orbs which shoot across from the corners, and don't stand too close to the centre or you will get stunned (Static Charge). I logged in one morning and DID IT! At least, I did enough DPS to kill THE WRONG TARGET, while avoiding the ouchies and beating the enrage timer... so, make sure you DPS the right target! It was several months between my Epicus kill and this kill. I would try every so often, get frustrated and leave. Some new loot had me feeling confident and I went in and one shot it. I used all of my survival cooldowns in the first 50% to keep myself alive in case I got hit by anything, then at 50%, popped all of my DPS cooldowns and blew him up!
There is just one fight left for me in the Brawler's Guild, I gave it a couple of shots on the weekend. I'm fairly confident if I put some time in to it, I can do it soon, but... I want to play DayZ!

AMG! Achievements... I guess!
Much of my scheduled stuff was cancelled for various reasons this week or called early. Very poopy! I'm thinking of ways to bring back my love for the game but currently I am at a loss and other games are winning my time. I need a project or something to work on in WoW that interests me... but what?!
I finally decided it was time to step in to Proving Grounds annnnnnnnd I didn't love them. I got silver for DPS and healing while on the phone, not very challenging. I didn't bother going for gold because I really wasn't enjoying them. Plenty of time, I guess!
I received this tweet during the week!
Two other new pets this week as well:
Chi-Chi, Hatchling of Chi-Ji
Vengeful Porcupette
None of which have been leveled, making that 20+ new pets I need to level... One day...

AMG! Achievements!
I've been playing other games, I won't lie. Other games have been taking all of the spare time that was once blogging time. I actually finished comics for the next 2 weeks though (Navi gets a break!) and managed to get some achievements this week. I put this post off all day, I just wanted to farm some rares in the time I was playing, but here it is!
Woo... LFR! >.>
I have such a hard time making myself do the Celestial Tourny each week. I didn't have to restart it this week though. Still, I can't wait to be done with it!
We got this on Flex on Sunday night, no one was expecting it so it was a nice surprise!I was invited along to a H-HoF with some Btag friends, I was about to go out but decided to fill in for a DPS who had left. I wasn't expecting to do any old content this week!
This week I got 2 new pets. My warlock had enough Jard's Peculiar Energy Source to create a Rascal-Bot, which I named Walter, and finally a sprite! Dandelion Frolicker, a gift from Azadelta.
I am a little happier with my DPS atm, the fights after Norushen are much better for Ele! Frostwolves are now 4/14 Normal and 6/14 Flex. I look forward to every boss that isn't Norushen.

AMG! Achievements!
Second week of patch is never as successful as the first on the points front, but I am happy with the ones I did get.
Finishing this achievement made me quite happy. I had spent a great deal of time on it, it was good to finally put it behind me.
FINALLY! After months of trying and avoiding Scarlet Monastery, we finally had a run where everything fell in to place! One left for the mount for a few of us!
I spent Saturday running around looking for the last lost artifact I needed, I found 20 or so of the ones I already had before finally finding the Snowdrift Tiger Talons. An ally who I had seen at several of the spawn points, was trying to find a way to get to them without aggroing the mobs that were around them, knowing it wasn't a cast and you just needed to click, I ran straight in and felt a little bad getting the achievement right in front of her.
Not feeling much better about Elemental DPS, and being last to cleanse my corruption on Norushen isn't making me feel any better. I did get a lot of upgrades over the wekeend but haven't had much chance to see how they are in raid. Hopefully this week sees a vast improvement otherwise I might need some hugs.

Woo... LFR!
Pets wise, let's see:
Gooey Sha-ling - I purchased this pretty cheaply from someone in trade.
Droplet of Y'Shaarj - This pet was bugged and dropping in LFR. I found one fairly cheap and grabbed it before the price jumped when they were hotfixed.
Gulp Froglet - Finally made it to Bufo in time!
Still a bunch to go, and still no sprite pet!

This week I wrote a piece of fiction to submit to the writing competition at The Wyvern's Tale. If you haven't entered yet, check it out! The prizes are awesome and include an amazing custom watercolour of your toon! There is still a week to get your entries in. Possibly at some point I will post my entry for everyone to laugh at!
Next week; Proving grounds? I don't know why I haven't had any interest in them thus far. I was pretty excited when I read about them months ago, but haven't stepped foot in one yet!

AMG! Achievements Aplenty!
PATCH WEEEEEEEEEEK! So many points! The Timeless Isle is kind of awesome. I've had a lot of fun this week, I can forget the negative stuff, but patches sure can bring out the worst in people. I'm glad I have a lot friends who aren't awful at patch times to make up for the behaviour I have encountered from randoms.
This is one achievement I actually wanted to see ding on my screen, I probably should have caged a few of my cats so I could relearn them to get the achievement, instead I completely forgot about it until Navi asked me if we had it... I hate you hindsight!
I wrote about this one on the weekend! Which reminds me, it's time for another Hai-Clue!
The Rope-Bound chest was a little trouble, and some guy kept laughing at me! /cry
Honestly, I don't remember this achievement at all, so I guess it just happened!
Clicking on clicky things gets you achievements without any effort at all!
I've found three of the four artifacts, you can still see the ones you have collected which is a little annoying! I get excited every time I see the shinies!
I love easy points! The hardest part of this one was avoiding the scary elites while trying to click on a Fiery Altar of Ordos.
Wowhead has a pretty awesome map of all of the chests on the Isle. After I got the achievement, I ran around collecting all of them! So many BoA's!
This was fun! I needed help with a couple of the mobs which I couldn't solo, yay guildies!
So much fire. Everywhere. Random mobs that were pulled onto the group where deadlier than the actual boss.
Having 3 of the blessings by the weekend, I decided on Saturday to just camp at a wayshrine and click it every 10 minutes until I got it. It was about an hour and a half of frog killing before I got the last blessing I needed, Yu'lon.
I purchased the Censer of Eternal Agony and found a high point to use it and jump down to kill myself to drop the buff! Then I afk'ed for 5 minutes while my pvp flag wore off.
I wasn't sure I was going to get this done this week. I tried a few times and was frustrated when I had to restart so I gave up pretty easily. I set aside some time on Saturday to get it done. I am already looking forward to never having to do it again, but 3 pets to go...
This one was interesting, I had a little trouble with it, but finally got there!
I was quite lazy about logging on my Priest to get the legendary cloak. I completely forgot that if I had the cloak on one toon, it meant any others could kill Ordos! So I logged on to Veluxia on Wednesday night so Luxygaga could kill Ordos for a chance at shinies! I was lucky enough to find a group just starting... at midnight... on Dath'Remar! Killing the four Celestials was fast and then I needed to collect 5000 Timeless Coins. After farming coins on my Shaman all day, I wasn't excited for more, especially not on my healer, but it wasn't so bad, with most of the coins coming from quest hand ins.
THE WINGS! They are so pretty! Seriously wishing I had been a little more serious about my Shaman a lot earlier. Oh, well! Only a couple of weeks until she gets her cloak! /fingers crossed.
Looking back over this I wonder if I should have saved some for the rest of the patch... though I still haven't tried Proving Grounds yet, so I have something to do next week!
Achievements weren't all I was hunting this week, pets were pretty high on my priority list, although I wasn't having much luck early on. By the weekend, I only had the 3 wild pets from the Timeless Isle, Lil' Bling and an Azure Crane Chick.
This post is already long enough without posting pictures of all the pets I did end up with after week 1, so here is a list!
Lil' Bling - My 32 Blingtron 4000 Gift Package hoarding alts paid off... barely! #27 gave me the pet.
Ashwing Moth - First one I battled was rare!
Flamering Moth - Still looking for a rare...
Skywisp Moth - I used my sneaky mount/glider skills to get this one! I battled 10 or so before I found a rare.
Azure Crane Chick - I farmed the nests for hours and I didn't find a pet... I purchased this one on the AH, but I will still have to farm one for the achievement, Going to need a bigger bag. (Looks fun, right?)
Bonkers - I spent a lot of coins on Kukuru's Cache Keys to get this! RNG was not on my side.
Death Adder Hatchling - Dropped from the fourth Imperial Python I killed.
Swarmling of Gu'chi - I saw this rare about 15 times before I actually got close enough to hit it before it died! First kill gave me the pet!
Jademist Dancer - I spent a bit of time farming these mobs, but no luck. I decided on Sunday to kill these mobs for my daily, Path of the Mistwalker. It dropped on the 18th kill of the day!
Ominous Flame - All the time spent waiting for Zarhym, was also spent farming this little cutie!
Skunky Alemental - Honestly, no idea how I got this pet. I know where it comes from, Zhu-Gon the Sour, but I hadn't killed the rare yet and I don't remember learning it. Weirdness!
Zao, Calfling of Niuzao - After completing the Celestial Tournament, I chose Zao! So cute!
Still lots of pets left to collect, a lot of rares to farm items from, and some more achievements, hopefully I will have something to post about next week!

| Winged Veluxia |
