AMG! Meta Achievements!

First thing when I logged on Wednesday morning, I also opened up OpenRaid chat. I saw a run for ToT achievements so I sent a tell and was invited. I didn't expect much, I try not to expect much with PuG's. If I get one achievement, I am usually happy enough with the time spent. The 6 hours I spent in there turned out to be totally worth it.

On Friday morning I signed up for another OpenRaid group. this time for MSV achievements, we managed to get all but one that people were after. The hardest one sadly, hopefully next time! 

After a lucky drop in Flex wing 2 on Thursday night, I decided to give Disruptron another shot. One shot it! Just Ahoo'ru left in Brawler's Guild for me!

Sunday - More raiding! A heroic Sha of Fear kill. What a scary fight! We were pleasantly surprised to also get The Mind Killer.

An awesome surprise from Navi! She was sitting out of raid when she told me to drop my mailbox mid raid! It was on cooldown still so I asked Moo to drop his Moll-E. Moon Moon!

Also this week, my Warlock made Pierre and somewhere I picked up a cheap Harmonious Porcupette!

I acquired three new mounts this week. Sky Golem, Reins of the Onyxian Drake and Riding Turtle. I might have to slow down on the spending for a little while to replenish the coffers!

I will try some more OpenRaids next week. I wonder how long I can keep up this achievement spam for?

Immerseus

Our first night in Siege of Orgrimmar was interrupted by a shutdown (so was the second I believe, though I was sitting out). We were making pretty good progress on Immerseus when we were forced to take a break. Fortunately we were able to get back in and get a kill before the end of our raid night. We had Asys and Kyxyn tanking, Navimie, Lushnek and Biship healing, Souugly, Sabrehawk, Sevrus, Azadelta and myself dpsing. Well done Frostwolves!

AMG! Achievements!

During ToT trash on Wednesday night, I saw shinies and ran over to loot, without a thought. DING! Wait WHAT?! OH! I looted Waterlogged Zandalari Journal, which was the last book I needed for Zandalari Library Card! I guess this means it is time to use my stacks of Key to the Palace of Lei Shen, so I can finish up Stormbreaker. My luck with the chests in there has been pretty bad though. You can see I still hadn't fixed my achievement add-on. I think it is fixed now!

Challenge modes this week went well! We decided to try something else since Scarlet Monastery hates us. Scholomance was chosen and I think I cringed a little as it is quite long. The first run was executed so well until the last boss. We spent some time talking about it and Aza made some suggestions that helped us one shot the boss on our second run through!

Since we succeeded in Challenge Modes this week, I can post this next pic! It doesn't feel right to post them when we fail. Arv's famous Navi killer move! Evil paladin!

Also this week, I defeated 4 more Brawler fights! (Dahakha is an amazing cheerleader btw) Leaving me with 3 fights left, each one on a different acheivement! Disruptron, Mingus Diggs and Ahoo'ru. On Mingus, I get so close, usually enrage gets me seconds after I have the statues down and the other 2 well, I just need to be less of a derp. One day...

AMG! Achievements!

More than 1 achievement this week and 2 of them gave 25 points each!

I always leave my priest to the last minute but this week I was determined to get her LFRs done first up. I knew that I had 2 achievements ahead of me so I was a bit excited! The healing challenge for the Wrathion chain was not as challenging as I had hoped, I expected many wipes and tears, hands thrown in the air in frustration. Alas, there was to be no tantrum on this day! I was happy playing my priest but also sad knowing that I really wouldn't have much reason to be logging her in again until 5.4. Tuesday was a day where many guildies also finished this part of the chain!

Raiding is going well. This week we killed 2 new bosses and got Genetically Unmodified Organism (still need to fix that addon!) Out first night of real attempts on Iron Qon went well, hopefully next time we see him he will die!

I spent some time with my Call Blizzard team over the weekend and got a bunch of wins. It was fun! I had forgotten how fun PvP pet battles can be. A little (not much) progress towards 1000 PvP pet battles won.

I also did some real PvP. An old friend, Taloski, transferred to Saurfang! He joined Frostwolves and we were invited to do some BG's with Navi, Sev and Shab. It was fun!

Dark Animus

To be honest, I was absolutely terrified about raid tonight. I watched the video for Dark Animus a couple of times and it kind of made sense... I guess? I was scared! Our strat changed a little which furthered my confusion but it clicked after a few attempts. When the boss died I asked 'Was that really it!?' The boss is so squishy. It seems to be all about managing the golums. I think someone said we had 13 wipes to it, which isn't bad!

Lushy looks so sad walking away! Of all the screenshots I took, someone was awkward in all them.

We had a couple of attempts at the Iron Qon fight but we didn't have a lot of time left. Hopefully we make some progress on Monday night, maybe even get a kill! If not, two new bosses down for Frostwolves this week is still fantastic work! The move to Saurfang was definitely right for us.

Primordius

No-one was sure we would have the numbers for a raid tonight. Some kind of sporting event is important to some people! Priorities!

Out first attempt on Primordius was really good. We had heard it was going to be easier if we used the achievement strat. It was easy! Three attempts and it was down. Another guild first!

And an achievement! Genetically Unmodified Organism. Which my add-on failed to get a screenshot of. I should look in to that. 

Dark Animus next... getting past the trash was fun! >.>

AMG! One Achievement... Again!

At least I got one. I was expecting zero.

Azue asked if I wanted to go along to a Terrace of Endless Spring with him... if I could tank. POO! My tank is still 85. Then a DPS spot opened up. I hadn't completed it on normal yet so I was excited to have the chance to get it done.

There was a lot of waiting around when people left for random reasons but overall it was a very smooth run until Sha, which took a few attempts as some people died early (Shockingly not me!) Grouping with Hellscream made me feel terrible about my DPS. He is godly.

After the Sha kill, that left 2 objectives for Tranquil Master, Sha of Despair and Sha of Hatred. I didn't have to do much of Krasarang Wilds to get to the Sha of Despair, though I did have to do a quest that makes me sad. Kicking the depressed panda back to town! Sha of Hatred was a different story. I flew to every hub looking for where I was up to with no luck. I was getting grumpy so I reinstalled QuestCompletist to find where I was up to in the chain. I CHECKED THIS HUB!! 30 minutes of questing and I had the title. Just in time for raid invites!

It might be time to start signing up to OpenRaids again. One achievement a week isn't cutting it!

Kentucky Fried Ji-Kun

Frostwolves killed a big birdy tonight! This was my first progression boss kill with the guild. I was pretty scared when they asked me to be in the egg group last night but it was actually kind of fun. I  survived on the kill attempt. I felt like I was getting extra healer love tonight. /happy! With our attempts last night there was no way she wasn't going down tonight!

I might be behind Disco's golden friend. Maybe.

Then we moved on to Durumu the Forgotten, not the most fun ever but we got him(?) to 44% a couple of times! Promising!

Looking forward to many more guild firsts with Frostwolves!
